Green Weather
Garrison Green and Stephanie Weatherford teamed up in 2008 to create “Green Weather” Truckee’s favorite folk fusion acoustic duo. Steph plays electric piano and Garrison chimes in on guitar to back up their striking vocal harmonies. It’s a full, rich sound that suits their focus on soulful pop and folk ballads.
“We like to try to add a new twist to our covers of other artists songs, adding harmonies, changing up the instrumental arrangement to make it fresh yet retain the heart of the song” Garrison says about their approach to favorites by Dylan (Bob and Jakob), Robert Earl Keen, Allison Krauss, Simon & Garfunkel, Kate Wolf, Eddie Vedder or even tunes from the Beatles or Springsteen.
